It has been repeatedly stressed that strict secrecy and speed of development are the essence of commercial success, till an invention is proved. For this reason, in spite of the fact that great efforts have been afoot for over three years, hardly a word has been spoken to reveal the art or science of the Suri-Transmission. Somewhat of a mystery has surrounded the transmission ever since the Chairman, Railway Board, Mr. Karnail Singh, announced its merits publicly. A great volume of enquiries have piled up. Time has come to answer some of these.
