One of the results of an Engineers' work is the production of wealth and an increase in the value of the raw material or the land worked on. It is therefore of some interest lo know the methods by which a fair valuation of the product can be assessed. The actual work of valuation may not ordinarily be considered as Engineering. But the value of an engineering product cannot be considered as properly assessed unless an engineer's mind was applied to the valuation.
