Size of Contributions: Contributions to this Journal from members of the Association had for a while become so scarce that the publication had been maintained with difficulty. But recently, as a result of editorial requests, we have been flooded with articles of such size that it was not possible to include them in a single issue. The last two numbers of the Journal were, therefore, combined in one issue. This was done without editorial comment for the purpose of studying the reactions of members to this method of publication. We find that it has not met with general approval, and the Editorial Board has decided against publication in future of papers of more than 3000 words and discussions of more than 200 words. Several papers have had therefore to be returned to the authors for modification-to their great dissatisfaction.
