Irrigation

As regards the irrigation aspect of the Damodar Valley Scheme somewhat complete picture of the proposed works can be represented.

Hitherto in all schemes, attempt has been made to afford irrigation facilities to the areas on the left bank of the Damodar only and nothing was done for the benefit of the right bank. But the present scheme envisages irrigation facilities to the areas on both banks of the river.
