Reservoir scheme to cost Rs. 35 lakhs
It is understood that the Government of Bengal propose, with the approval of the Bihar Government, to construct a reservoir of a capacity of over 6,000 million cubic feet in the upper catchment of the Damodar (in Hazaribagh district) in connexion with the Howrah-Hooghly flushing and irrigation scheme.
