Recent Trend for Rural Development in India

The main constraints for rural development programme in recent times in the country may be listed as lower degree of production, non-availability of proper resources, un-employment and under-employment of poorer masses, limited expertise of the rural people, to exploit science and technology and such other various factors. The restricted resources as offered to the rural community is extremely inadequate to meet the needs of developmental aspect undertaken in rural areas.
