Large Panel Prefabrication

Traditional materials and building techniques would continue to be of advantage in building low cost large scale housing projects. Still however, in urban centres especially in metropolitan cities where huge backlog of housing exists, it has become a matter of urgency to build large number of houses at a fast rate to wipe out the shortage. Besides the backlog, the housing shortage in urban areas is further aggravating due to influx of large population and natural increase in population at the rate of 3.5 per cent per annum. Hence large panel profabrication will be the only solution to solve the mass housing programme and to speed up the building construction work.
