Density and Space Standards for Housing

1.1 Till recently not many cities had Master Plan for development of a city in an integrated fashion. By integrated, I mean that the infrastructure facilities plus living areas should be so co-ordinated that people living in houses in far off colonies of the city should be able to commute to their place of work and when they come back they should have the environment to live reasonably happily. This therefore envisages preparation and implementation of Master Plans and development schemes for each of the cities.
