Studies have been made for the determination of compact densities and minimum briquetting pressures of the metallic compacts of aluminium and copper during compression in a cylindrical die-punch set at room temperature.

Study is also continued to compare the true-stress experienced by the die-body during compression of metal powders with the theoretical stresses, based on the hydraulic pressure transmission.

Abstract

Study is also continued to compare the true-stress experienced by the die-body during compression of metal powders with the theoretical stresses, based on the hydraulic pressure transmission.
