Some Problems of A Multistoried Building

The use of the word “ Multi-storied building” has been very common now a days though multi-storied buildings have been in existence from time immemorial. One may therefore pertinently ask how many storied building should be classified as “multistoried”. I do not want to go back to antiquity and tell you as to the beginning of buildings more than “one storied” high. We are concerned with the high rise buildings that are being constructed now mostly in the urban region. These buildings are of “framed construction” either in steel or reinforced concrete.
