We have celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the Association of Engineers last year with pomp and gaiety. It was a land mark in the progress of our Association which has closed a chapter extending over half a century. No doubt, the achievement was considerable with the help of our enthusiastic members and executive body but still we have a long way to go to reach our destination. We cannot remain content only with our glorious past but we have to look forward for the future and compare our success in relation to the progress in the advanced countries of the world.

Abstract

We have celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the Association of Engineers last year with pomp and gaiety. It was a land mark in the progress of our Association which has closed a chapter extending over half a century. No doubt, the achievement was considerable with the help of our enthusiastic members and executive body but still we have a long way to go to reach our destination. We cannot remain content only with our glorious past but we have to look forward for the future and compare our success in relation to the progress in the advanced countries of the world.
