Several industries have been commissioned in India to generate a range of products on a commercial scale. Along with this technological and industrial advancement has come the increased risk of environmental toxicity to animal and human life. In particular, the damage to the endocrine and reproductive system collectively referred to as 'endocrine disruption' is causing concern and needs to be addressed urgently.
