Influence of Exogenous Melatonin on the Testicular Activities in the Indian Major Carp Catla catla Vary in Relation to the Reproductive Phase in an Annual Cycle

The responsiveness of different testicular events occurring during the Preparatory (February-March), the Prespawning (April-May), the Spawning (July-August) and the Postspawning phases of an annual testicular cycle to exogenous melatonin was studied for the first time in the Indian major carp Catla catlai.
