Isolation of Mandibular Organ-Inhibiting Hormone from the Eyestalks of the Crab Oziotelphusa senex senex

Eyestalks of the crustaceans are the source of an array of peptide hormones, which are involved in the regulation of molting, reproduction and metabolism. Oziotelphusa senex senex eyestalk peptide hormones were characterized by high-performance liquid chromatography.
