Frequency of Chromosomal Associations in Human Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes Treated with Sodium Fluoride and Arsenic Trioxide and the Possible Protective Effects of Ascorbic Acid
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Trace elements like fluoride and arsenic are known to exert their toxic effects if their intake exceeds normal levels. The present in vitro studies on genotoxicity of fluoride and arsenic at dosages of 10μg and 0.001μg/7ml of culture media respectively were carried out to determine their effects on acrocentric and telomeric associations in human lymphocyte cultures.
