Neem leaf extract treatment (100 mg/kg body weight for 8 days) has resulted in elevation of heapatosomatic index (HIS) and gonadosomatic index (GSI). Histologically, cellular components of the testis such as spermatogonia, primary and secondary spermatocytes revealed degenerative changes in the treated rats. Vacuolization of the cytoplasm and nuclear marginalizing were commonly observed.
