Effect of Chlorpyriphos on Non Target Organisms
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Chlorpyriphos {o, o-diethyl-o-(3, 5, 6-trichloro-2-pyridyl/phosphorothioate} is an organophosphate insecticide and is used to kill insect pests (Funderburk et al., 1990; Science Direct, 2010). The insecticide kills the insects by disrupting their nervous system. It has been found to be effective against a wide range of organisms. To know the extent of its effect on non-target organisms, this study was undertaken.
