Cepedea cyanocephala Sp. N., an Opalinid Parasite (Protozoa:Opalinidae) from Rana Limnocharis limnocharis Wiegmann in West Bengal, India

A new species of opalinid parasite of the genus Cepedea has been described and illustrated from the anuran host Rana limnocharis Umnocharis from the Sundarban region of West Bengal, India. The present species has been critically compared with other known species of the genus from India.
