In India under patriarchy women are generally conceived as home makers which deny them access to the outside world. Therefore when women come out of their homes, they are stressed and strained.Women instead of being free are permitted to study, work and pursue a field of her liking. This puts limitations in their wish fulfillments. The age-old domination of women has produced a guilt-conscience in them. They are scared to come out of the role models. Even if they tread out they feel guilty for not performing their duties (imposed on them) as earlier. Society has ingrained in them that home and hearth should be their sole pre-occupation. So when a woman works she tries to balance between her home and the work place. This has given modern working women extra load of pressure making them sometimes the patients of psychic disorder, depression and stress.
