On the Occurrence of Pyrite in Harti Hills

Presence of pyrite inappreciable quantity from the northwestern part of the Gadag Schist belt is described. On an average the volume percentage of pyrite in the rock is 41. Spectroscopic analysis of pyrite confirms presence of copper.
