Rb-Sr Age of the Tusham Ring Complex, Bhiwani, India
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Acid volcanics and associated granites from the Tusham Ring Complex in northwestern India yield a well defined Rb-Sr isochron corresponding to an age of 754±20 Ma (λ=1.42 x 10-11 yr-1 ) and an initial Sr composition of 0.7131±0.0025. This is in good agreement with the age of the Malani suite of igneous rocks of western Rajasthan.
