Stability of the Points of Libration in an Elliptic Restricted Problem of Three Bodies

We start with the linearisation of the equations of motion in the neighbourhood of a point of libration. It is seen that the solution for the third coordinate is periodic and so for stability purposes we do not take into consideration the differential equation giving this coordinate.
