The Quadratic Reciprocity of Polynomials Modulo p

The usual theory of quadratic residues can be extended in all its aspects to polynomials with integral co-efficients modulo p, p being an odd prime. Namely, if f(x), F(x) are two polynomials, which are mutually prime mod. p, we say that f(x) is a quadratic residue of F(x) mod.
