Consider the conic

circumscribed about the triangle of reference. If D, E, F be points on the sides of the triangle of reference ABC, the conditions that DEF may be self-conjugate with respect to the conic are

(i) AD, BE, CF should be concurrent,

(ii) the point of concourse should lie on the conic.
