Approximations in Curve Tracing
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The form of a curve at an infinite distance, or in the neighbourhood of the origin when the curve passes through it, is in all cases determined by approximations. That is, certain terms of the equation of the curve are rejected, and simpler curves found thereby, which nearly coinoide with the original curve at infinity or near the origin.
