An Exact Solution for a Static Charged Fluid Sphere

In the present paper the field equations of general relativity have been solved to obtain a solution for a static charged fluid sphere. This solution is free from singularity and satisfies the necessary physical conditions. The solution is matched at the boundary with the exterior Reissner-Nordstrom solution. Numerical estimates of various physical parameters are also discussed.
