'Regular' Thermodynamics and Conducting Fluids in General Relativity
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The prevalence of the enigma of instantaneous interactions in Newtonian mechanics, thermodynamics and relativistic mechanics is a defect The removal of the pathology of infinite speed of heat propagation has been accomplished recently by Carter (1988). In this paper the state of art in general relativistic thermodynamics is presented. For thermally conducting perfect fluids, the Maxwell-like equations are deduced as the consequence of a certain group of motions, with the help of ‘rheotetrad’.
