Information Literacy and Research:A Study of School Children of Apeejay School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai
Based on a study of 180 school children studying Class IX and Class X at Apeejay School, Khargar reports the their attitude towards information literacy and research. Observes their perceptions of research process, how they find information and whom they consult and also their perception of how they use library resources. Concludes that school librarians and classroom teachers should consider collaboratively developing assignments that include components encouraging or requiring students to actively seek help from their school librarians.
