Appa–A Mystical Magician
On that evening, the 'Nadumane' (Central Hall) of our ancestral house in Dharwad, was bustling with guests. There were many uncles around – Kumbhar Kaka, Hungund Kaka, Atgur Kaka and others. A huge garland of silk cocoons was put on my Father. Everyone clapped. But I started crying. The next moment, the garland was transferred to me. Claps went again and a photo was clicked. I became happy and smiled. Appa became happier to see my smile.
