Scientific Productivity of University of Madras : A Scientometric Analysis

This paper examines and reports the analysis of research performance of faculty & Scientists of University of Madras is based on the Web of Science (WoS) Citation Database for the time period 2008- 2018 for asses & evaluate the research output in this University. During the period of study, it analysed 3633 research publications. It also gives a comparative examines, evaluation, asses, and performance of various types of scientometric study i.e. Subject wise, journal wise distributions, document type, highly prolific authors and language wise, such as number of publications, number of citations and collaboration from India. The research analysis found the there is a significant variation in the growth and deliberation of research output of University of Madras research among the selected countries and Institutions.
