Print Advertisement Analysis for Selected Car Manufactures and Newspapers in Pune City an Insight into Suggested Modern Techniques to better the Quality of Business Students

The purpose of this study was to analyze frequency of advertisements given in selected Newspapers targeting car readers .We conducted analysis on 85 print advertisements in Pune city for selected four newspapers.

This study analyzed six car manufactures advertisements in four consumer interest newspapers from April to june 2015. It was found that the top three ad-vertised car manufactures were Maruti, Hyundai&Skoda. It was hypothesized that Average no of Advertisement given by all six automobile cars manufactures are same. Also it was hypothesized that Average no of Advertisement for automobile cars are same for all 4 newspaper.

The study offers a snapshot of the print advertisements in India that will be useful to managers&researchers. 

Significance : it is important in two broad ways - managerially&from a research viewpoint. Firstly managerially , it will describe the state of advertising phenomenon in an emerging market like India.

 Secondly this study lay the foundation for future studies in Print Advertisement Analysis in Newspapers
