Business Ethics in Indian Perspective

India is moving towards to become developed country and suppose to be super power in near future. While crossing those boundaries it has to undergo economical, social, cultural and philosophical transformations. The major problems in this journey are corruption and unethical business practices. To change this scenario, the ethical orientation of business society is needed on priority basis. This article elaborates the concept of business ethics, ethical dilemma in leadership, ethical decision making and gives us an idea about factors influencing business ethics. Present study is purely library work and based on secondary data only. Use of primary data may helpful for precise approach of the studying Indian work culture.. An understanding of ethics begins with an analysis of values both individual and organizational. Effective managers and leaders must be aware of these values, morals, ethical system and ethical decision making. Purpose of said article is to know the present position of India in this regard. It also highlights the application base and some remedial measures for practicing business ethics.
