A Study of Customer Satisfaction Towards Organized Retailing with Special Reference to Future Group in Selected Areas of Pune City
There have been parading shifting shopping patterns and practices across different geographies and customer segments across the country during last one decade. Shopping in modern retail stores have become extension of social self. There is a great deal of conversions of global teen values such as consumerism, materialism, independence, self expression, openness to new ideas, cultural mobility flexibility and enjoyment of life. Progress in retail sector from unorganised retailing to organized retailing is logical extension of ongoing economic and market reforms in an emerging economy like India and consumerism is becoming a way of life. India has topped the A.T. Kearney's annual Global Retail Development Index (GRDI) for the third consecutive year, maintaining its position as the most attractive market for retail investment .From this point, an attempt is made here to measure customer satisfaction in organizes retail outlets.
For the purpose of this study the researcher has made use of both primary and secondary data. There is little research done to find out the relationship between customer satisfaction and organized retail outlets.
