Unlimited Food for Limited Desires:Case Study on the Culture of Detached Actions at Akshay Patra
This is a case study on spiritual management. How an organisation can create a missionary zeal and missionary organisational design is depicted in this case. Prof. Pradeep Khandwala has identified various types of organisations, one of them is missionary organisation. This case study is a depiction of a missionary organisation. Akshay Patra is able to serve very good food to millions of school going poor children through its unique culture, commitment to the welfare of people and detachment. The case depicts strategies, organisational culture, organisational values and mission of Akshay Patra (an NGO).
