Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease with Acute Intense Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), and the World Health Organization (WHO) has proclaimed Covid-19 as a pandemic. The virus can spread quickly through close contact and via respiratory droplets induced when people cough or sneeze. In the research paper, a SIR Model of the spread of the corona virus that considers both the age and social contact structure has been explored.
