Automation of a calibration laboratory using Free Software (GNU/LINUX). Free Software is one which gives freedom to the user to run the program, access and modify the source code according to ones needs. This paper describes the process of automation of a calibration laboratory using Free Software. Using this software the laboratory management as per ISO 17025, and calibration process automation can be achieved, which will lead to a paperless calibration laboratory management.
