With the liberalization and globalization of today's economy, a lot of pressure has come on the organizations in developing countries (DCs) especially in India to perform better in the coming days. This is because that company has improved their technological status by implementing advanced manufacturing technologies (AMTs) through joint ventures or licensing agreements. The purpose of this paper is to look into the issues for improving the utilization level of advanced manufacturing technologies (AMTs) in Indian Manufacturing Industry. There is strong evidence that these barriers affect the manufacturing performance of advanced manufacturing technologies in manufacturing industry. The methodology used for this paper is a literature review of published work of different scholars.
