Ashwani Kumar Nominated TD PM's High-Level Committee Dn Manufacturing

Government of India has nominated Dr. Ash\wani Kumar Minister of State (Industry) to an Empowered Sub-Committee of the High Level Committee on Manufacturing (HLCM). This Empowered Sub Committee will monitor the follow up action on implementation of the decisions taken by the HLCM. The Empowered Sub-Committee will act as the main executive body of the HLCM and submit its periodical reports for consideration of the Prime Minister / HLCM. The Sub-Committee will be serviced by the NMCC and concerned Ministries will render required assistance to the Sub-Committee. The constitution of the Empowered Committee is expected to give effect to major policy decisions required to enhance the competitiveness of Indian manufacturing and to increase its share in our GDP.
