A Critical Discussion on Open Government Initiatives:Position of Turkey

Open data policies at the local level are relatively new and most cities are still learning by doing. It is important that those cities considering open data initiatives learn from other cities that have implemented programs, so as to avoid the problems and mistakes that other cities have encountered along the way. This article attempts to provide the recent literature and applied cases through OGP and a critical discussion on the position of Turkey.
