In order to study the importance of cloud computing, we illustrate the characteristics of cloud computing and differentiate it from many other research areas. The service oriented, loosely coupled, fault tolerant, business oriented model and easy to use are the main characteristics of cloud computing. Grid computing is the simplest process of cooperating multiple processors on multiple machines and it also boost the computational power which requires high capacity of the CPU.
