Identification of Factors Influencing GER of Female Candidates in Higher Technical Education using Decision Trees

This paper explores the various factors (social, economic, demographic) that may influence the GER of females in Higher Technical Education in Punjab (India). We studied to what extent these factors can be helpful in identifying the enrolled and not enrolled female candidates in Higher Education and to focus upon the most influencing factors to increase the participation of women in terms of enrolment in higher technical education.
