Coccinellidae is a family of coleoptera popularly called as ladybird beetles. Globally there are 5000 species of this group (Allen and Humphries, 2000). The majority of these beetles are carnivorous and feed on the small soft bodied insects such as aphids, aleuryds and plant mites (Chakraborty, 2010). Besides, some are mycophagous and phytophagus as well.
