A Response Surface approach has been used to study the production of an extracellular lipase from Bacillus species. This research paper mainly focused on developing a media component and physical parameters for lipase production by Central Composite Design (CCD).Interaction were studied for four different factors are olive oil concentration, ammonium sulphate concentration, pH and Temperature. By using the statistical approach (Response Surface Methodology) the optimum enzyme activity of 8.69 IU/ml was predicted when olive oil concentration 1.5%, ammonium sulphate concentration 0.4%, pH 8, Temperature 40ºC.
