A Comparative Study on Adjustment Problems of Schedule Tribe and Schedule Cast High School Students

The present study has been conducted to find out the differences in the adjustment problems between ST/ SC and general caste boys and girls of Govt. High School. The results reveal that there is a significant difference in adjustment problems of general and ST/ SC Govt. High School student. Further, a significant difference has also been found between ST/ SC and general girls in their adjustment problems. Thus, it is concluded that ST/SC boys have made remarkable development in adjustment capacity. But the ST/ SC girls are still facing diverse condition that is hindering their growth significantly. In general, ST/ SC students have significant adjustment problems in comparison to general students. Still more attention and special counseling is required for ST/ SC students, especially the girls.
