Leprosy cases were frequent in Chhattisgarh, the prevalence rate was needed to be controlled. The flow of expenditure on control of leprosy has resulted in decreased prevalence rate of leprosy in the state thus indicating the improvement in health condition of residents of Chhattisgarh
