Dispersible tablet of amoxicillin sodium and cloxacillin sodium were prepared by employing different superdisintegrants and disintegrants such as microcrystalline cellulose and sodium starch glycolate, crosscarmellose sodium, crosspovidon, in different concentrations by direct compression method, formulation were evaluated for the standard of dispersible tablets and were compare with marketed product. The formulated tablets fulfilled all official (I.P.) requirement of dispersible tablet and give fast dissolution of amoxicillin plus cloxacillin sodium when compared to conventional marketed tablet of same drug. Study reveals that Dispersible tablet formulated by osscarmellose sodium employing gave fastest dissolution of amoxicillin plus cloxacillin sodium.
