Chemoprevention agents can also identified by systematic evaluation of agents that acts at specific molecular targets with respect to cancer by using laboratory assay. The use of specific nutrients, other chemical compounds in the prevention of cancer is referred to as chemoprevention. Now a days, very less research work focusing on the effect of substrate bound elemental Se nanoclusters on cancer growth. The mechanisms by which nano selenium compounds inhibit tumor formation during the initiation phase of carcinogenesis have been explored in vitro. Selenium nanoparticles are very beneficial for treatment of cancer.
