Ultrasonic Study of Smart Materials for Engineering Applications

This Ph.D. thesis focused on thermo-acoustic properties of smart materials. The thesis presented theoretical studies of higher order elastic constants, mechanical parameters like Young modulus, bulk modulus, shear modulus, tetragonal modulus, Cauchy's relations, Zener anisotropy, ultrasonic velocity, ultrasonic Grüneisen parameters, non- linearity parameters and ultrasonic attenuation coefficients.
