Mechanical, Thermal and Structural Properties Studies of Alkaline Borate Glass Mixtures Using Ultrasonic Velocity Data

Elastic constants, Debye temperature, Gruneissen parameter, coefficient of thermal expansion, ratio of specific heats, structure factor and micro hardness are calculated for alkaline borate glass mixtures such as Na2O3+B2O3 and as Na2O3+B2O3+SiO2 to study the structural modifications. The results are analyzed.
