Excess Parameters of the Binary Mixtures of Benzyl Benzoate in Dichloromethane and Iso-Butanol
Ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity have been measured experimentally in the two binary mixtures of benzyl benzoate in dichloromethane and iso-butanol at three temperatures 30,35 and 40°C over the entire composition range. The thermodynamic and other allied parameters like adiabatic compressibility, free length, internal pressure, enthalpy etc. have been computed and the variation of the excess parameters like excess compressibility, excess internal pressure, excess enthalpy, excess activation energy etc. is analyzed in the light of inter molecular interactions in the mixtures. In both the mixtures, strong intermolecular interactions between the constituent molecules are suggested.
